Logistics

Send me your artwork and audio files and we’ll get your MUCs printed — just like pressing CDs. You’ll also receive a list of individual download codes to write on the cards before a gig, or on demand. After that, sell your MUCs however you like: at shows, online, through your merch store.

Pricing

You pay once for printing. The print cost already includes server costs for hosting the download and any GEMA licensing fees. Your music stays available for download for 10 years by default — get in touch if you ever need an extension.

Security

Your music is about as safe with MUQS as it was on CD.

• MUQS protects against brute-force attacks. Even if an attacker spent 1,500 years trying, they’d have less than a 1% chance of guessing a valid code.
• MUQS can’t stop fans from sharing downloaded files — but neither could CDs.

GEMA licensing

Please let us know upfront whether your work is GEMA-licensed (see VR-OD 10). Each download of licensed works incurs royalty costs for MUQS, so MUCs default to two downloads each. Want more? Just ask when you order.
