FAQ

How can I download my music to my computer?

If you’d rather download your music to your computer instead of directly to your phone, it’s easy:

  1. Scan the QR code with your phone.
  2. Copy the URL from the browser and send it to yourself so that you receive the message on your computer.
e.g. via email, Signal, Threema, …
  3. Open the message on your computer and follow the link.
  4. Enter your download code.
  5. Download the music to your computer.

Which app can I use to listen to purchased music locally?

I will only recommend apps that I personally use, or have at least tried once:

  • Android:
    • Musicolet Music Player (free / Pro Features €13.99 one-time)
The free version is more than sufficient for everyday use. The Pro features are very specific and I only bought them to support the project.
    • Symfonium (€5.99 one-time)
Very similar in features to Musicolet. However, you can only try the app for a limited time before you have to pay.
    • VLC for Android (free)
VLC is a solid choice, but not quite as well optimised for music playback as the other two apps.
  • iOS (iPhone):
    • Since I don’t own an iPhone, I unfortunately don’t have any good tips here yet.
