FAQ
How can I download my music to my computer?
If you’d rather download your music to your computer instead of directly to your phone, it’s easy:
- Scan the QR code with your phone.
- Copy the URL from the browser and send it to yourself so that you receive the message on your computer.
e.g. via email, Signal, Threema, …
- Open the message on your computer and follow the link.
- Enter your download code.
- Download the music to your computer.
Which app can I use to listen to purchased music locally?
I will only recommend apps that I personally use, or have at least tried once:
- Android:
- Musicolet Music Player (free / Pro Features €13.99 one-time)
The free version is more than sufficient for everyday use. The Pro features are very specific and I only bought them to support the project.
- Symfonium (€5.99 one-time)
Very similar in features to Musicolet. However, you can only try the app for a limited time before you have to pay.
- VLC for Android (free)
VLC is a solid choice, but not quite as well optimised for music playback as the other two apps.
- iOS (iPhone):
- Since I don’t own an iPhone, I unfortunately don’t have any good tips here yet.
